Endowed by the Spirit

The last time we had a discussion, we talked about Building an Organization Capable of Good Strategy Execution, and sir discussed some quotes to support the topic. Some point that struck me was as follows:

“Doing what you really wanted to be more productive”- yeah, this one is right, whenever you’re given a task, no matter how hard it is, if you like what you are doing, you will be successful with it.

"Unite total Organization behind Strategy”- no matter how great the strategy that the management has planned for the company, if all members were not inclined with the same goal as the management, then that strategy would be useless. It will not be successfully implemented without the support of everyone in the organization.

“How do we generate commitment from others, especially if you are in a group or in a relationship?” – I think this one is the highlight of the lecture. It affected me the most since it’s applicable to the present situation. How do we really generate commitment in a relationship? My answer to that when sir asks me was: “You have to show that you are seriously immersed into that kind of mutual relationship.” You have to show your enthusiasm and the spirit to the persons you are “in with”. [SIDE COMMENT: I have given my full commitment but sad to say you did not, so selfish, self-centered and insensitive. -bitter? Hehe]

Communication is very critical here; we must learn how to deal with different types of people especially when we are already in the real world or working in the industry.

"Through all things difficult commitment is where our strength lies".
